The first game of baseball is played in San Antonio.

The San Antonio Light‘s radio station, KTSA, is broadcasting the Texas-SMU football game today.  The game starts at 2:30.

More than 30,000 persons in more than 6,200 automobiles set an all-time record the past two days as they passed through the gates of San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemeteries Nos. 1 and 2 in observance of the Roman Catholic All-Saints and All-Souls days despite the muddy, muggy weather.

The Eagles bring their Hotel California tour to Convention Center Arena.  Opening act is J. D. Souther.
