The San Antonio Public Library is a welcoming community gathering place and cornerstone of family, cultural and civic life. The Library honors diversity and will celebrate the holidays with a variety of programs and events throughout the month of December. Visit the Parman Branch Library to enjoy Winter Walk, a self- guided walk through a winter wonderland including lights and holiday scenes on the trail behind the library. The trail is open every evening in December from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On December 12, Encino and Igo branch libraries will celebrate their inaugural Multicultural Winter Festival. Participants are invited to celebrate the winter holidays of countries around the world. Check out crafts, samples of traditional food, dance and music from over 18 countries. There will also be free pictures with Santa and live entertainment.
