Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, at the San Antonio Public Library

The San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) is a welcoming gathering place that celebrates the cultural diversity of the San Antonio community. Beginning Saturday, November 14, the Library will host four performances in celebration of Diwali, the Festival of Lights.

Diwali is one of the most celebrated Indian festivals symbolizing the victory of good over evil.


Visitors to the Library will enjoy performances from various regions of India that combine dance, music, mythology and storytelling. Visit SAPL to celebrate Indian culture!

Saturday, November 21, 2 p.m., Pan American Branch Library (1122 W. Pyron Ave., 78221)

Saturday, November 28, 2 p.m., Johnston Branch Library (6307 Sun Valley Dr., 78227)
