World War I – 1915
Count von Bernstorff, the German ambassador, emphatically denied today that he had used or attempted to use James F. P. Archibald the American messenger to Dr. Constantin T. Dumba, Austrian ambassador, as a message-bearer in Berlin.  Also , the Russian cabinet resigned today.  A reorganization has been planned for months by the czar.

For the first time in the military history of the U.S., motor driven transportation will be used to supply an Army division when the provisional division at Camp Wilson leaves on its march to Austin next weekend.

Sam Street, Chief of Detectives, dies after being shot yesterday trying to stop a holdup in a local Piggly Wiggly grocery store at the corner of San Pedro and Laurel.

San Antonians, shocked by the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington D.C., unite to pray, donate blood and help out in this time of crisis.
