April 20 in San Antonio history…

President Benjamin Harrison visits San Antonio during the inaugural Fiesta San Jacinto. He is the first President to visit the Alamo City.

Three P-80 Shooting Star jet fighters land at Kelly Field after a 1,200 mile trip.

“Skipper,” the performing dolphin, is performing four shows daily at 1:00. 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. in Wonderland Mall.  “El Curro” is performing two shows daily at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m (right).

Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award-winning composer, Marvin Hamlisch, performs at the Lila Cockrell Theater.
(Hamlisch won an Emmy in 1995 to complete his EGOT requirements.)
