Ten soldiers from each company in the 14th Cavalry and the 17th Infantry at Eagle Pass were granted special leaves to attend the Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey circus in San Antonio.
1942
H.E.B. opens its first grocery store in San Antonio at 1802 N. Main St.
1992
Ozzy Osbourne, Alice in Chains & Blind Melon play a show at Joe & Harry Freeman Coliseum. It is Mr. Osbourne’s first appearance in San Antonio since his infamous cenotaph incident ten years earlier.
