A report, submitted by the Planning and Zoning Commission, projected a 1980 population of 962,084 in Bexar County and 846,153 in San Antonio. By the year 2000, the population of Bexar County was projected to be 1,198,319 and the population of the City of San Antonio: 1,070,219.
(They underestimated. The 2000 population of Bexar County was 1,392,931 and San Antonio was 1,144,646. -Ed.)
