Endorsement of an auditorium with a seating capacity of 10,000 persons was voted unanimously at a meeting of the citizens auditorium committee in the council chamber of the City Hall yesterday.

1935
Postmaster Dan Quill suggested San Antonians take a last look at the old post office as crews would begin razing it soon to make way for the new building.

San Antonio bankers blamed the drought and heavy taxes for the $6,908966 decrease in total deposits in 15 San Antonio banks for the past year.
